Pricing Information
Prices consist of development and production costs. Production costs on an order of 500 cards start at about $2.00 per card. A purchase of 5000 of the same card would lower the production costs by about $0.75 per card. Development costs are one-time expenses and range from a thousand dollars to several thousand depending on the requirements. A firm quote is provided based on discussions with the client prior to any work being done.
Production Process
It is important to differentiate between the two basic processes when
considering the quality of Broadview Media's eCard compared to standard
industry practices. Standard industry practice is to utilize what is
called CD-R format with the data being "laser burned" on the
CD. CD-R stands for "CD-Recordable". Broadview Media's cards are
produced utilizing a much higher end process, primarily pressing them
from a mould which is the same process used when you purchase CDs from
a store.
